Mine arrived today as well. Assembly was very quick and easy - make sure you file the rough edges after snapping out the parts. Don't have it doing any more than the default drive, bump and turn routine that's built in yet but plan on trying to get something more interesting going soon!

Mine also arrived this morning. I've put it together and let it run about the kitchen, but nothing else yet!

Wow thats pretty awesome of them! I wonder if they are honoring the orders for legal reasons or if theres another motive (marketing). I hope it's the second one! Probably because TI is awesome One commenter on HaD put it this way: A trade show booth can run around $30k for a weekend, while this evalbot stuff is going to be all over the web. That being said, 2500 orders at a discount isn't cheap, either.

shadymanThanks, still hate the waiting... X-D TI used to make awesome products, but like Microsoft they got top heavy and started competing rather than innovating. I hope this recent embrace of OSS/H trend continues, and perhaps I may purchase fewer National products on the next design. Already have some cool ideas, and I hear a JVM is being ported to the Cortex M3 as we speak (but Sun has app-cancer Oracle now in charge... so who knows.)

I'm *extremely* happy to know I were wrong ;D Is there any chance that they are waiting to pack two items on a single shipping, since I had already ordered a launchpad on a previous order (backordered 27 october)?

Mine still pending. Looks like international orders will get processed at the last minute. Btw, how do they usually ship? FedEX, DHL or Regular postal service?

Someone in the UK just posted on HAD that they got their bot (with no customs charges). Seems they are being done in the right sequence, even for international orders.

Talked to a TI rep about a week ago. I had no estimated ship date yet, but he told be it would be around the 13th of December. Then I just called today and the rep said it would be more towards the end of December. His explanation was that they can't make them fast enough. I don't know if I believe that, but it might turn out to be a New Year's present.
