Has anyone used Dev-C++ to develop for the evalbot? I've used it for general C/C++ programming.
I tried to set it up for the evalbot, but am rather a novice. I don't think that I got the environment set up properly. I was able to compile successfully, but if I ran it using the CodeSourcery simulator (arm-none-eabi-run), it tells me that there is nothing to load. Of course, I may not know how to use that properly either...
I'm game for using a linux distribution, but I've been having some issues installing a VM. Usually, I have the best luck with Debian, but the screen resolution is so small (unknown monitor), and I haven't been able to correct it (rather inexperienced with linux, too). I tried to load Gentoo, but it's too advanced for me. I lack too much knowledge of how it should be set up.
