Micrium has released the source code and book for the Evalbot programming language. This might be of use to quite a bit of you. I still haven't learned any code so not useful to me (yet micrium.com/page/downloads/os-iii_projects

Yay! It finally arrived. Shipped yesterday and arrived today. Nice of them to do priority overnight. I have it all assembled and it is working! The wheels are the hardest part. They aren't perfect but they work. Can't wait to get some custom code onto it. I have some photos up on Flickr. Hope you find the pictures helpful. I also have a video on Youtube of it running. Enjoy! www.flickr.com/photos/qwertypo/sets/72157625750986337/www.youtube.com/watch?v=9xH78kNnOPk

I got an email saying there was an update on my Evalbot order. Went to the My Orders page and it still said processing. May be a little longer till I receive mine. P.S. My Chronos I ordered on December 29th Should be here by January 3rd. Edit: I am an idiot. Didn't see the ship date of 1/20/11. I guess it won't be too much longer after all. Edit 2: Chronos has arrived! Pretty sweet. I know it has been posted but I would like to use it to control the Evalbot that is coming. I think once we get more people going at it, there should be a simpler way of getting the Chronos to control the Evalbot. I'm so excited!

Will probably be a New Years present. I can't wait to get my hands on it. I believe this will be the project that gets me more into programming. I have just dabbled in programming in the past. I hope to make it a career in the future.

Talked to a TI rep about a week ago. I had no estimated ship date yet, but he told be it would be around the 13th of December. Then I just called today and the rep said it would be more towards the end of December. His explanation was that they can't make them fast enough. I don't know if I believe that, but it might turn out to be a New Year's present.

Boy this is turning into a gaint bummer. I just got off the phone with a Ti sales rep, he said unless you attended the boston tech thing, they will not honor the price. Crap, just crap, I'm in the middle of a real-time class and this would have been great for my project, yet i'm stuck in all this Ti red tape. I asked him well if I order it at full price will you ship it, he said he is not sure. Does this mean that most of our orders were for nothing? If we have an order number will they honor it? Could this have something to do with the transaction not being on pending or completed? Mine still says Order Date: 10/4/2010 Order Number: 6391 Ship To: Parker Reed Status: Processing Items 1 of: EKB-UCOS3-EVM - Stellaris® Robotic Evaluation Board for use with Micrium’s µC/OS-III

The pending transaction for the Evalbot dissappeared from my debit card. I don't know what is going to happen.

Thanks.
Edit: I really don't know how to remove dependencies or modify the code. Is there a simpler way to do this? I really want to get this going, but I am lost past the "Get the Micrium software release (from here) and install it." Any help is appreciated. Thanks.
