Anybody doing anything with this then? I want to but I need to learn C first!

I'm getting the following error when trying to install the driver from the IAR Embedded Workbench: Any clues? I'm on Windows 7 x64

Yup, I'm in the UK and I didn't get hit with any customs charges.

Mine also arrived this morning. I've put it together and let it run about the kitchen, but nothing else yet!

I'm quite tempted to desolder the motors and replace them with motor drivers for something a bit bigger. Either that or use it to control a radio controlled car at high speed.

Hi all,
Glad to see the forum is being used already! I'm Phil, from the UK. I'm studying Computer Systems Engineering at Cardiff University. I know a moderate amount of Java and VB, and I am planning on learning C and PICs very soon.
Can't wait to see what sort of stuff gets made by everyone, I hope this will teach myself and others a lot.

Welcome to the forum for the Texas Instruments EvalBot, recently featured on Hack A Day and other sites due to the temporary heavy reduction to just $25 shipped.
As this is a brand new forum, please feel free to make suggestions as to what boards and categories you want, and I'll make a few moderators in a few days if people use this forum.
Enjoy everyone!
Phil
